Here’s Who the Blackhawks Selected in the Sixth and Seventh Round of the 2022 NHL Draft

The Blackhawks had three remaining picks in the 2022 NHL Draft in the sixth and seventh rounds after making two selections in the second round and three picks in the third (and one trade).

The Blackhawks traded the 167th overall selection to the Pittsburgh Penguins for forward prospect Liam Gorman.

With the 173rd overall selection in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Blackhawks picked center Dominic James.

  • James played with current Blackhawks blue line prospects Wyatt Kaiser and Connor Kelley at Duluth this past season. Kelley is transferring to Providence for next year.

The Blackhawks traded a sixth-round pick in 2023 for the 188th overall selection in this year’s draft. And with the 188th overall selection in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Blackhawks picked forward Nils Juntorp.
