It’s starting to feel like hockey season is almost here. And soon you’ll be able to start spending money on the Blackhawks again.
The Blackhawks teased a save-the-date for Sept. 14 on Twitter on Wednesday. It’s because that’s when you can buy single game tickets for regular season games.
Tickets will go on the market at 2 PM CT next Wednesday, but you’ll want to keep an eye on social media and this space earlier that day.
The Blackhawks also announced they’ll announce the promotional schedule for the coming season — including the date for Marian Hossa’s number retirement — at 10 AM CT. So you’ll have four hours to rearrange your schedule and plan on getting in what we guess will be a long line to buy tickets to Hossa Night at the United Center.
Single game tickets going on sale on Sept. 14 is a great precursor to training camp opening one week later (Sept. 21). Practices at Fifth Third Arena are expected to be open to the public during training camp as well.
