With tickets going on sale later today, we were all waiting to see which date we needed to circle on our calendars and which other events in life we needed to reschedule for Marian Hossa’s number retirement ceremony.
Now we know. It’s Nov. 20 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The Blackhawks released their full promotional schedule on Wednesday morning as the NHL players hit the ice for a light practice ahead of the prospects skating at noon.
Two other nights that look intriguing are theme nights to begin the 2023 calendar year. The Blackhawks will host “Studio 1901 – Blackhawks Disco Party” on Jan. 8 vs. the Calgary Flames and “BackNYTME – A Blackhawks Retro Experience” (80s and 90s inspired entertainment) on Jan. 12 vs. the defending champion Colorado Avalanche.
On Jan. 22 when the LA Kings visit the UC the Blackhawks will host a “Bulls Night” featuring collaborative entertainment with Chicago’s NBA team.
