Patrick Kane is Still the Best RW in the NHL (According to EA Sports)

You don’t have to tell Blackhawks fans that Patrick Kane is amazing. He is, already, the greatest American player in the history of the NHL (yeah, we’ll die on that hill). And he’s been among the most consistent offensive threats in the NHL for 15 years.

But at his advanced age, it would be understandable if video game ratings elevated younger players to the top of their metrics at some point.

That point is not today, friends. Kaner is still the undisputed No. 1 right wing in the NHL according to EA Sports.

We’re not going to focus on the guy at No. 6 right now. Let us enjoy this moment.

Saying Kane is the top guy without question is a bold statement with the seasons Nikita Kucherov and Mikko Rantanen enjoyed last year — and them being on the respective Stanley Cup Final participants while Kane was on a bad Blackhawks team that’s entering another rebuild.

Yet here we are, once again celebrating 88 at the top of the heap.
