Injury Report

Chicago Blackhawks

Petr Mrazek is dealing with a groin injury and was placed on IR this morning. Arvid Söderblom was recalled to serve as the backup to Alex Stalock. Still no Boris Katchouk or Ian Mitchell.

Detroit Red Wings

Joonas Donskoi (upper body) is expected to miss this weekend. Ryan Winterton (shoulder) and Chris Driedger (knee) are on IR for Seattle.

What to Watch For

  • Alex Stalock will be in net for the Blackhawks with Petr Mrazek nursing a groin injury. Stalock allowed just one goal against the Golden Knights last week and kept the Red Wings off the board in 22-plus minutes of ice time after replacing Mrazek on Friday night.
  • The Kraken enter today’s contest ranked 22nd in goals scored per game (2.83), and Stalock leads the NHL in GAA (0.75) among goaltenders that have played in more than one game this season.
  • Sam Lafferty leads all Blackhawks skaters with five points through four games. Lafferty has logged two goals and three assists entering play.
