The Blackhawks have won one game since Nov. 12. It was at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 3, a dominant 5-2 win against the team that visits the United Center this evening. If you think that one doesn’t burn the Rangers still, the fact they’re fourth in the Metropolitan and have been hot lately (six-game win streak) means they’ll want payback. Thankfully, Ryan Reaves isn’t there any more.
Oh, and one more thing…

What to Watch For
- In the month of December, Jonathan Toews has won two-thirds of his faceoffs (72 of 108 — 66.7 percent). That’s good for second in the NHL among skaters who have taken at least 50 faceoffs (John Tavares is at 69.5 percent).
- The Rangers played in Philly on Saturday night so maybe the Blackhawks getting them in the back-end of a back-to-back could help?
- When the Blackhawks beat the Rangers on Dec. 3, Max Domi (2 goals, 1 assist) and Patrick Kane (1 goal, 2 assists) had six points and eight shots on net combined.
- This game being on ESPN means we’ll likely hear about how good it would be for the Rangers if Kane and Artemi Panarin were reunited later this season.
