The Blackhawks play their final game before the three-day Christmas break the NHL celebrates every year. The Blue Jackets come in losers of their last five games and with a 2-8-0 record in their last 10. Columbus is just four points ahead of the Blackhawks in the standings, so if there was ever a game the Blackhawks should have a chance to win… Let’s see if they’re able to get back in the W column as a nice holiday gift to the fans who participate in the festivities at the United Center this evening.

What to Watch For
- Alex Stalock makes his first start since getting hurt against the Islanders on Nov. 1.
- This is a revenge game for Seth Jones and Adam Boqvist. We’ll see if either has something up their sleeve for this one. Boqvist returns after spending 25 games on the shelf. Jones will have Jake McCabe with him even though Jake left the Blackhawks’ last game early after taking a stick to the eye. It’s good to see him available. He’s been good for Seth.
- Patrick Kane has scored 23 goals with 53 assists for 73 points in 56 career games against Columbus.
