Pre-Gamin’: Blackhawks vs Coyotes (7:30 PM CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread, More

Chicago Blackhawks

So after the morning skate, here’s what we know: Patrick Kane is out, Alex Stalock is in net and Caleb Jones is playing on the blue line. Boris Katchouk and Isaak Phillips are the scratches with Kane. So the forward lines I’ve got below are a complete guess. Head coach Luke Richardson said after the morning skate that the lineup is still a work in progress so we’ll see what it looks like when the puck drops… and how it evolves throughout the game.

What to Watch For

  • Lukas Reichel appears set to get some run in the Blackhawks’ top-six tonight. He spoke about playing a more complete game but still using his skill to create scoring opportunities on Thursday. While we don’t know what line he’ll start on, this is a great chance for him to show what he’s got in the NHL. He’s been good in the AHL this year.
  • Brett Seney will make his Blackhawks debut tonight. He’s among the top point-producers in the AHL, so we’ll see how and where he slots into the lineup tonight.
  • The Coyotes appear to be going with seven defensemen tonight. They lost 6-2 in Philly last night.
  • Arizona comes in losers of three in a row and 4-5-1 in their last 10. The Blackhawks have lost their last five and are 1-9-0 in their last 10. So…
