On Wednesday, the AHL announced its all-stars for this season and three Rockford IceHogs made the team!
Lukas Reichel, the Blackhawks’ first-round pick in 2020, is third on the IceHogs with 36 points in 32 games. He might not be with the IceHogs for this event, however; after his three-point effort against Calgary over the weekend — including his first NHL goal — it sounded like he was going to get extended run in the NHL.
Brett Seney, who was just demoted by the Blackhawks on Wednesday (rough emotional day), leads the IceHogs with 38 points in 32 games. The 26-year-old forward appeared in the last two NHL games with Chicago.
David Gust, 28, is with the IceHogs on an AHL contract. He leads Rockford with 18 goals and ranks second on the team with 37 points in 34 games this season.
