Two notable tweaks to the lineup for tonight: Isaak Phillips draws back in for Ian Mitchell and Jaxson Stauber will make his NHL debut. And what a time and place to make his debut. The Blackhawks have won five of their last ten and their last two. The Blues have also won their last two, and they’re trying to figure out if they’re a playoff team or ready for to start building around their next generation. A Saturday night in St. Louis. Let’s go!

What to Watch For
- Our old friend Brandon Saad has been hot for the Blues. He has scored six times in nine games in January, leading St. Louis. Pavel Buchnevich (10), Saad (9) and Robert Thomas (9) have been point-per-game players in the Blues’ nine January contests.
- In two games this season against the Blues, the Blackhawks have only scored three goals. Two of them have come from Andreas Athanasiou.
- Even with Ryan O’Reilly in the lineup — which he won’t be tonight — the Blackhawks have dominated the Blues in the faceoff circle this season. Jason Dickinson (62.7 percent), Jonathan Toews (62.2) and Max Domi (57.7) have all be great against St. Louis.
- When the Blackhawks last faced the Blues on Dec. 29, Brayden Schenn was credited with 11 shots on net.
