Blackhawks Send Philp, Stauber and Roos Back to Rockford

Chicago Blackhawks

With nothing on the schedule until Feb. 6, the Blackhawks assigned forward Luke Philp, defenseman Filip Roos, and goaltender Jaxson Stauber to the Rockford IceHogs on Sunday morning.

The IceHogs have three games this week: they host Manitoba on Tuesday and then Minnesota on Friday and Saturday. Getting these guys some run with the AHL club makes sense, especially Roos; he hasn’t played since he swapped places with Isaak Phillips.

Stauber’s confidence should be high after winning his first two NHL starts. Philp appeared in one game with the Blackhawks while with the NHL club.
