Seth Jones Will Participate in the Hardest Shot Competition

On Thursday afternoon the NHL announced which all-stars will compete in the various skills competitions on Friday night in Florida. Blackhawks defenseman Seth Jones will take part in the Hardest Shot competition for the third time in his career.

Buffalo defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, Winnipeg defenseman Josh Morrisey, Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin and Vancouver forward Elias Pettersson will compete against Jones.

I haven’t been able to confirm that Seth wants 300-level ticket holders at the United Center to attend and yell “SHOOT IT!” when it’s his turn. More as that develops.

You can watch the 2023 NHL All-Star Skills on ESPN and ESPN+ on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6 PM CT. The 2023 Honda NHL All-Star Game begins at 2 PM CT on Saturday, Feb. 4 (my birthday) and will be on ABC and ESPN+.
