Blackhawks Sign David Gust, Call Him Up from Rockford

On Thursday morning, the Blackhawks announced they have signed AHL forward David Gust two a two-year, two-way contract that runs through the 2023-24 season. The deal has a $762,500 salary cap hit.

The Blackhawks then called Gust up from Rockford.

In 51 games with the IceHogs this season, Gust has set career highs in goals (24), assists (26) and points (50). He leads Rockford in goals and points and is tied for second in assists, earning him an AHL All-Star appearance this season.
