The Blackhawks won’t have Jack Johnson tonight — or at all again this season — after trading him back to Colorado. They also won’t have Jake McCabe, who was traded to Toronto with Sam Lafferty this afternoon. So the blue line is going to be a grab bag tonight. Newly acquired Andreas Englund was at the morning skate and is expected to play, so the defense below is a complete guess for now. Philipp Kurashev was sick and is a game-time decision.

What to Watch For
- What the hell is the Blackhawks’ blue line gonna be tonight?
- The Ducks, who are second in the Connor Bedard standings, have won their last two. The Blackhawks, now fourth, have won five straight. Somebody has to win tonight.
- With all of the moving pieces on the Blackhawks lately, this might be a sloppy game. Good time to lose against a team ahead of them in the Bad for Bedard standings.
- I do NOT approve of the new guy wearing No. 28. It should have been retired 25 years ago.
