Blackhawks at Flames – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

The Calgary Flames have won their last four games and are desperately trying to salvage a season that has seen a lot of in-fighting. The Blackhawks, meanwhile, control their own destiny in the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery; they come into Tuesday night’s game with the worst record and point percentage in the league. It appears both organizations want the same outcome tonight. The players, on the other hand, all want to win.

Injury Report

Chicago Blackhawks

  • The Blackhawks continue to be without Cole Guttman, Colin Blackwell and Philipp Kurashev, whose seasons are over.
  • Calgary Flames

  • No players on IR.
  • What to Watch For

  • Calgary needs this one; the Blackhawks do not. But the Blackhawks have hung around in games against teams with playoff aspirations lately. Will there be another second period implosion from Chicago?
  • The clock is ticking for Alex Vlasic to go back to Rockford. Will they continue to skate him heavy minutes?
  • How does Jonathan Toews look in his second game back in the lineup?
  • The Blackhawks will go with Ian Mitchell and Jarred Tinordi draws back into the lineup tonight. How will the defense sort itself out?
  • Get Caught Up
