Wow. The list of reported past heroes coming home to celebrate Chris Chelios’ jersey celebration on Sunday continues to grow — and now it might have added the biggest name in the history of Chicago sports.
Michael Jordan, the GOAT, who didn’t make it into town for the Chicago Bulls’ ring of honor ceremony, will apparently be in the building on Sunday. Chelios told the guys on 670 The Score this morning he expects to have Jordan there to be part of the fun.
On Tuesday, the Blackhawks announced Jeremy Roenick, Ed Belfour, Tony Amonte and Denis Savard will be part of a pre-game panel discussion in the United Center Atrium that Pat Foley will emcee.
This is turning into one of the must-see events in Chicago this entire calendar year.
And I haven’t even mentioned Patrick Kane playing his first game in Chicago as a visitor that night…
