Blackhawks at Kings – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Okay, so here’s the set up for tonight’s final game of the 2023-24 NHL regular season — and, with the latest start time on the slate, this is indeed the actual, final game of the entire regular season. And the Blackhawks are in the middle of the final piece of the NHL’s playoff puzzle.

  • If Vegas wins, they’re the 3 seed in the Pacific and play Edmonton; LA would then play Dallas.
  • If Vegas loses and the LA beat the Blackhawks, LA would play Edmonton as the 3 seed and Vegas would head to Dallas.
  • This is important because Vegas’ game against Anaheim begins 30 minutes before the Blackhawks and Kings. How that game progresses may influence how the Kings deploy some of their veterans late in the game.

Oh, and it sounds like the Blackhawks might only have 5 defensemen available… oh joy.
