After another disappointing loss on home ice, the Blackhawks begin a five-game road trip in Dallas tonight. It will be the second half of a back-to-back, and it appears the Blackhawks will run Petr Mrázek out there two consecutive nights instead of Drew Commesso making his first NHL start against arguably the best team in the conference.
The Blackhawks want to get back on track. Visiting the good team in Dallas isn’t an easy ask. We’ll see if the boys have something in store for the Stars tonight.

Injury Report
Chicago Blackhawks
- Alec Martinez (groin) and Laurent Brossoit (knee) are on IR.
Dallas Stars
- none
What to Watch For
- Can Bedard start a scoring streak? He got on the board (finally) last night. How about two in a row.
- Revenge game for Dickinson and Smith. Let’s go! (Love me some Blackwell but not tonight.)
- Where will Reichel spend most of his time tonight? He’s been really good with Smith (assists on all three of Smith’s goals).
