When you consider where the Blackhawks are right now, the task of hosting the defending Stanley Cup champions feels awfully daunting. But the Florida Panthers arrive at the United Center tonight struggling in their own right. It might be a good night to bet the over. And, with the weather in Chicago today, it might be an interesting night to bet the under on the attendance at the game as well.
The Blackhawks are not having a morning skate, so we’ll have to confirm the lines we saw at practice on Wednesday when the game begins but it looks like we’re sticking with the top line that worked well on Tuesday night.

What to Watch For
- Bedard and Dickinson clicked on Tuesday night. Can they do it again?
- Can the Blackhawks score enough goals to win a game? I don’t care if it’s one of 12.
- The Panthers have an incredible weird schedule. They’ve played their last four games against… two teams. Two games against the Devils in New Jersey, the Jets in Florida and then in Winnipeg. They’ve lost three of the four and allowed six goals in two of those losses. Of course, the Blackhawks aren’t the Devils or Jets, but…
