Okay, so… the Blackhawks flew to New York after practice on Sunday and have a new head coach who has now been in charge for three days — two practices, one mid-afternoon game — and yet the Hawks did not have a morning skate today at Madison Square Garden. Take that as you will.
Also, please employ a grain of salt when considering the lines and defensive pairs below. As I noted in this morning’s bullets, recent call-ups Kevin Korchinski and Drew Commesso were not at practice on Sunday and both Alex Vlasic and Craig Smith were out for maintenance days.

What to Watch For
- The Blackhawks changed coaches. The Rangers “fired” their captain. It’s been a crazy last few days for both of these teams, and the Rangers got their butts kicked at home by the Kraken last night. Which team wants it more tonight?
- How will the Blackhawks use Korchinski? Power play 2? Third pair?
- It’s S??derblom’s net for the next week or two (at least). Let’s see how he stacks up under the bright lights at MSG.
