The NBA Finals don’t start until later this week, but Zach LaVine is already putting in that offseason work.
On Instagram, he has been sharing some recent workout footage that’s helping remind all of us just how athletic this guy is. LaVine’s motions are so fluid throughout these clips that he makes everything look super easy. In reality, we all know each of us would be eating a mouthful of that sand eventually.

Putting up 15 layups in the sand with a weight pulling your body backward doesn’t appear to be the most enjoyable for LaVine, but I sure do like watching it.
It’s definitely encouraging to see LaVine already hard at work, especially when considering he is coming off his best overall season statistically, averaging 23.7 ppg along with 4.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game. Not to mention, it shows he is taking the time to play up to that 4-year/$78 million contract given to him by the Bulls last July.
LaVine could be in store for an even better performance this upcoming season with a more well-rounded Bulls team on the court. All he needs to do now is post a couple of videos of him dunking and I’ll be all ready for the season!
