Things to keep in mind
- Kevin Durant will – at least – be out for Game 1 of this series. As for Game 2, Warriors head coach Stever Kerr said it was a “long shot” that Durant would be able to return in time for Game 2. Durant has been out since May 8th and missed the entire Western Conference Finals.
- The Warriors have also been without super-star center DeMarcus Cousins who suffered a torn quad muscle on April 15 in the first round of the playoffs against the Los Angeles Clippers. Shams Charania of The Athletic announced earlier this morning that Cousins would be active for the finals.
- The Raptors have home court advantage due to winning one more regular season game than the Warriors. This will be the first time over the last four finals appearances for the Warriors that they do not hold home court advantage.
