Coby White Stole the Show and Made New Friends at the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot

Chicago Bulls News

Over the weekend, the NBA hosted many of its newly drafted talents for the Rookie Photo Shoot, and Coby White represented well.

If you weren’t already pumped to see the new point guard in action, I’m sure these photos and videos from the event will do the trick. Throughout the day, White was seen hanging out with college teammate Nassir Little and Duke rival Zion Williamson, alongside many other notable names.

Let’s check out some of the best stuff:

  • The NBA had a handful of players go through a quick round of 20 questions throughout the day and White finished things off. Not every question was a home runs, but we did get a few interesting answers. When White was asked about the NBA teammate with which he’s most excited to play, he responded with Zach LaVine (these two about to get buckets).
  • As for who influenced his NBA game the most, White said it was Chris Paul (with whom he actually worked out earlier this offseason).
  • The other interesting question was in relation to what shoe brand he liked to hoop in the most. Answer: Adidas. Considering we’re waiting to see if White will sign with Jordan or Adidas … that response actually might hold quite a bit of weight. Anyway, the whole interview can be found toward the tail end of the video below.

  • If you were ever wondering what pure art looks like, just take a glance at the picture below. Look at the shadow of his hair on the court… masterful.

  • If you are in the market for a new mural to have across the entirety of your living room, this feels like the right choice.

  • Why, yes, that is Coby White in a ball pit having an amazing time.

  • White’s chilling with Zion, Little and, as Zion calls him, “this guy with bounce” (aka: Sekou Doumbouya). I don’t know about you, but the NBA clearly doesn’t mind putting White front and center. The more attention he can get around the league, the more positive publicity this young Bulls team can get as the regular season approaches.

  • This man keeps telling us he can sing. Someone hook him up with Damian Lillard so the two can put out an album or something. We can settle this once and for all.

  • If you want his basketball card already, White’s got you covered.

  • Yeah, so White signing with Adidas is a lock, right?
