Does the season end now?
No?
WE’RE ONLY HALFWAY!?
The Chicago Bulls lost to the Boston Celtics 113-101 tonight, ending the first half of their season with a 14-27 record. The game was basically over by the end of the first quarter, where the Bulls were outscored 28-14.
Well, technically. The Bulls did manage to make the game semi-interesting in the normally-horrible third quarter. However, the Celtics balanced scoring lineup was too much for the Bulls to handle and they pulled back to a comfortable lead early in the final frame.
The moral of the story here is that the Bulls aren’t who we thought they were (or are they?). We’ve known that for a long time, but in a season where the playoffs were preached, the team is currently on pace for 28 wins.
Bulls on pace for 28 wins at halfway point, but win % in non-ATL/DET games is 26 which is a 21 win pace.

28. Wins.
I didn’t expect the Bulls to beat the Celtics, but the more they fall out of these games and the less competitive they look, the harsher reality of another wasted season becomes.
Sit back. Watch the College Football Playoff National Championship, and see what it’s like to win.
