Is it only a matter of hours before the Bulls announce they have a new executive vice president of basketball operations?
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Nuggets GM Arturas Karnisovas had a second interview with the Bulls earlier this afternoon. I know we were told this could move fast, but this is rocket-speed. Karnisovas had his initial interview with the organization just earlier today, and now he’s already spoken with the Bulls again? They must’ve heard something they liked.
More notably, owner Jerry Reinsdorf joined in on the most recent conversation.
Jerry is involved. That’s final finalist stage. https://t.co/Wtco81rDle

As NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson points out, if Jerry is involved, then we’re super close to cutting the check. Ugh, I’m just ready for this to happen already! It’s so close I can taste it! SOMEONE GIVE ME A BITE!
