If you’re bored today, re-watch the highlights from Game 6 of the 2009 Eastern Conference First Round.
Joakim Noah stole the show, but there were so many other crazy things I forgot happened in that game.

• A Charles Barkley interview never disappoints. The NBA Hall of Famer went on ESPN 1000’s Waddle & Silvy to talk about The Last Dance, his relationship with Michael Jordan, and the current Chicago Bulls front office, so give it a listen!
• While they didn’t linger too long on the Bulls front office changes, new general manager Marc Eversley did get the Charles Barkley stamp of approval: “I really like Marc. I’ve known Marc for a long time. He’s a really good dude. I’m really excited for him to get his first chance to be like a big dog. He’s a great person. Now, you just have to make smart basketball decisions. We need to Bulls to be good, man … I’ve given up on the Knicks. We’ve been saying for 30 years ‘we need to Knicks to be good; we need to the Knicks to be good.’ So I gave up. But we really need the Bulls. The NBA is better when the Bulls are good.” AMEN, CHUCK!
• Barkley has had his fun at the Bulls expensive in recent history, but can you blame him? The guy still respects the heck out of this city, and I think that says a lot considering the Bulls played a major role in keeping him ring-less. Also, I have to appreciate a guy who basically throws anyone not on the “S.S. Jordan is the GOAT” overboard. Not to mention, in Barkley’s case, his continued admiration for Jordan is a bit surprising. For anyone not caught up to speed, comments Barkley made in 2012 on Waddle and Silvy’s show practically ended any relationship these two had. Barkley said some harsh words about Jordan’s work as an NBA owner … and yet here we are today.
• Barkley opened-up about their break-up, and here’s what he had to say: “More sad than anything. Really, really sad because the guy was like a brother to me for – shoot – twenty-something years … Like I said, to me, he’s still the greatest basketball player ever. I wish him nothing but the best. But, hey, there’s nothing I can do about it, brother.” When asked how the two can clear the air, Barkley said Jordan has his phone number.
• Would you trade Wendell Carter Jr. and Otto Porter for Nikola Vucevic? LOL. Yeah, me neither. Bleacher Report came up with trade ideas for each lottery team if they were to win the No. 1 overall pick, and I guess this is what they thought would be best for the Bulls? I don’t know about you, but I sure wouldn’t give up a promising, inexpensive 20-year-old Carter Jr. for a guy who just signed a four-year, $100 million contract last offseason (plus, he’ll be 30 by the start of next season). Sure, Vucevic is a very solid player, but if you think he’s the guy who will drastically move the needle for this team … you’re wrong. Everything about this trade is a pretty hardcore “No, thank you.”
• With that said, if I landed the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, I’d happily take calls for it. As we’ve previuously discussed, there is no right way to approach this draft, and finishing draft night with a couple of additional assets is never a bad thing.
• The power of The Last Dance!
With Sunday's episodes featuring the Lakers, Knicks, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson and Madison Square Garden, the New York (+11%) and Los Angeles (+12%) markets were both up double digits compared to episodes 1 through 4.

• Here’s a bunch of clips of Chicago beating-up on New York because why not.
• I always find this to be pretty impressive.
