The GOAT continues doing GOAT things.
On Friday afternoon, Michael Jordan announced he and Jordan Brand will donate $100 million to fight racial inequality.

Donations will be made over the next 10 years to organizations “dedicated to ensuring racial equality, social justice and greater access to education.”
The commitment comes only a few days after Jordan released a statement regarding the death of George Floyd, where he pleaded:
“We must listen to each other, show compassion and empathy and never turn our backs on senseless brutality. We need to continue peaceful expressions against injustice and demand accountability Our unified voice needs to put pressure on our leaders to change our laws, or else we need to use our vote to create systemic change. Every once of us needs to be part of the solution, and we must work together to ensure justice for all.”
If I do say so myself, Jordan is setting a prime example of what it means to be a part of the solution. And while everyone may not be in a position to support the cause financially, he’s sharing a greater message: Do what you can. We’re all in a position to help in one way or another, whether it be through donating, volunteering, protesting, or simply listening. Listen to Jordan. Be the change.
