Anyone with a younger sibling probably knows the feeling of being in trouble for absolutely no reason. You’d be sitting there watching Rugrats, chowing down on a PB&J with some goldfish when BANG, your brother knocks over the side table because he’s an idiot and broke that ceramic elephant your mom got from Pier 1 (Michael: I’m pretty sure this is an episode of The Brady Bunch). Before you know it, you’re both getting a stern talking to and sitting in the corner.
Well, Twitter decided to punish BN Bulls for no reason yesterday. The company admitted that they glitched out and locked a bunch of accounts on accident, unfortunately including ours. We’re waiting for it to be resolved, but it’s super annoying. Please, just know what we’re not a bot and did nothing wrong.

• Chicago Bulls players were all smiles yesterday when they took the court for the first day of voluntary group workouts. The team shared a couple of fun videos from Day 1, and you can check them out in the post below. Also, if you don’t follow the #boys on Instagram or the team on Snapchat, I recommend it. Those accounts have also given us a closer look at what the in-market bubble looks like and how we can expect everyone to pass the time (they appear to have a pretty cool hangout room).
Love to see these positive vibes at the Advocate Center on Day 1 of workouts.
Happy Bulls, happy me. https://t.co/mR53KRzcSP

• Also, Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley are staying in this bubble too, right? Two guys with a “gym junkie” stamp of approval, I’m sure they’ll both be at the Advocate Center each day to get a closer look at their new team. I’m more concerned about whether or not they’ll be killing Coby White and Wendell Carter Jr. in doubles ping pong. Like, will Karnisovas and LaVine stay up playing COD and throwing back Code Red Mountain Dew all night while Eversley and Gafford prank call Jim Boylen? This is the content I want to see.
• Coby White joined Mark Carmen of Da Windy City Podcast to talk about quarantine and his goals heading into Year 2. The soon-to-not-be rookie said that he’s been focusing on his finishing and playmaking throughout this unexpected offseason. Intending to take over starting point guard duties, White was rather honest about where he must improve his game. However, make no mistake, he sounded more than confident that he’s the right man for the job: “I know that’s what I want to do. I know that’s my goal. I know that’s what I’m going to achieve. I want to play point guard in the NBA, and I know I feel like I have the skills and the tools to be a really good point guard in the NBA. As long as I stay humble. As long as I keep working. I keep grinding … everybody got their opinion, it is what it is. I’m just going to prove them wrong at the end of the day.”
• I’ve been on the Coby White hype train since before the Bulls selected him in the 2020 NBA Draft (OG Coby truther), so I tend to be a bit overly optimistic when it comes to talking about his potential … but how can you not be!? The kid is the perfect amount of talented, focused, and humble. I have very few worries that White can become a serviceable point guard in this league. While he may always be considered a score-first guard, he has the basketball IQ and determination to become an efficient playmaker. I always thought he deserved more credit coming out of college for his passing, and I think all it will take is one offseason of work to see that White is capable of leading an offense (at least I hope).
• brb gotta go cry.
Butler shouts out Deng, Boozer, DRose and Noah as veterans who helped him learn the game the way he has helped Herro in his rookie year.

• When I saw Butler’s quote about his old Bulls teammates last night, I also thought of this interview clip:

• Jimmy Butler may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you can find him the right teammates, he’ll make those guys better [stares at John Paxson]. Tyler Herro is a perfect example of someone who has learned to thrive alongside Butler. Last night’s 37-point outing was quite the impressive (and historic) performance. Herro now holds the second-most points in a playoff game by a player under 20. Who did he pass on the list? You tell me.

• The Athletic’s Darnell Mayberry is one of the best in the business. He writes about Billy Donovan’s flexibility in his latest column – a point that really shouldn’t go unnoticed. Donovan has gotten into the playoffs each season with a relatively different style of play. The man has been able to adapt accordingly to his roster, and that’s one of the must-have attributes to be an elite coach in today’s league.
Billy Donovan can’t be considered a home-run hire by the Chicago Bulls. But he’s a good coach and a great fit. Here are five impactful things Donovan brings to the Bulls https://t.co/7tv82ywSu2
