The Chicago Bulls wrapped up Day 1 of voluntary group workouts on Wednesday afternoon with a little surprise for their youngest player.
Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley gifted Coby White a framed jersey to commemorate his All-Rooke 2nd Team selection. Players and coaches showered the young stud in a round of applause while he hoisted his new award high. The entire thing was completely adorable and awesome and wholesome and exactly what we want to see from this revitalized Bulls team.
Watch it … and then watch it again:

Seriously, how freakin’ fun is it to see this? I know it’s nothing more than a simple recognition – something franchises should do when their players achieve a new goal – but it feels like so much more in the wake of all this organization change. Everyone has a smile on their face and that’s the only appropriate way to kick off a new era.
Hopefully, we continue to get a look inside the Bulls bubble over the next couple of weeks. I wish we could watch them play, but I’ll gladly settle for these shared moments. More, please!
