What to Watch For
• I’m not saying the Bulls should be favored tonight, but l don’t hate them getting 7.5 points one bit. With the first meeting ending in only a 3-point loss and a massive offensive performance just two nights ago against the Pelicans, there is a world where the Bulls could make things interesting tonight. Not to mention, the Clippers will be down 2x All-Defensive First Team member Paul George, who would have made life that much more complicated for the Bulls explosive backcourt. A lot of it will depend on whether or not Zach LaVine can counterbalance the Kawhi Leonard attack like he did on January 10th. He dropped 45 points on the Clippers that afternoon, trading bucket-for-bucket with Leonard, who finished with 35 points.
• Speaking of the Bulls backcourt, can Coby White carry over the momentum from his previous performance? Patrick Beverley will be no easy matchup, but the same could have been said with the lengthy Lonzo Ball and pesky Eric Bledsoe on Wednesday night. When White gets going, he can get buckets with the best of them, so let’s hope the Bulls prioritize a hot start for White. Hook him up with some open catch-and-shoot looks and encourage him to get out quick in transition.
• The Bulls surprised us with their defensive performance against the Pelicans, holding the Zion Williamson-led squad to just 14 points in the 3rd quarter. I don’t expect the results in any quarter to look anything similar to this tonight, but let us hope the team can carry over some of that same energy and effort tonight.
• Kawhi vs. Baby Kawhi (Patrick Williams) Round 2
• Guard the perimeter. The Clippers shoot the 5th-most 3’s in the league, and they are knocking down a league-best 42.2 percent of them.

Fun fact when i was poking around Zach’s on/off stats, which look real rough for him defensively. obviously the starting lineup is bad and the vets/bench has been good. In 221 minutes with Zac/Thad/Temple on the court…119 ORtg, 106 DRtg. Zach w/ vets is the new Jimmy w/shooters!
