What to Watch For …
• Everybody welcome the new Chicago Bulls! Only two days after a heavily eventful trade deadline, all of the Bulls new talent – with the exception of Daniel Theis – will be available to play. Nikola Vucevic, Al-Farouq Aminu, Troy Brown Jr., and Javonte Green could all get playing time as head coach Billy Donovan looks to figure out his new rotation. While all four players were with the team yesterday, none of them took the court for practice. And with a grueling road trip ahead that will provide minimal practice, in-game experimentation will be the coaching staff’s best opportunity to see what their new roster really looks like.
• Zach LaVine was technically questionable going into tonight’s game, but (just like the guard said last night) he will take the floor. Likewise, Garrett Temple is set to return from his ankle injury. We’ll have to keep an eye on whether or not both look 100 percent.

• I don’t think the staring lineup tonight will be set in stone at all, but it will be interesting to see what Donovan does with Lauri Markkanen and Thaddeus Young’s minutes. Young is by far the better play alongside Markkanen, but Donovan might also want to put him back on the bench to better control his minutes.
• Will the Bulls style of play see any immediate changes? Vucevic should fit right into the existing gameplan, but he also gives the team some options they didn’t have before on the offensive end. For example …
Billy Donovan hinted at Bulls calling for more post ups with Nikola Vucevic on board, because of course.
Bulls currently rank 21st in NBA in post ups per game, averaging 6.3. Vucevic nearly doubles that on his own, averaging 11.1 per game — only Joel Embiid (13.4) averages more.
