The Chicago Bulls have announced that Coby White will miss this afternoon’s matchup with the Brooklyn Nets due to COVID protocols.

This game will be the second-year guard’s third missed game of the season and third in the last four games. White returned to the floor on Friday against the Utah Jazz after missing two straight games due to a sore neck.
Now, while any absence such as this is concerning, we’re unsure whether or not it is anything that will lead to an extended absence just yet. According to NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson, head coach Billy Donovan made it sound as if the team will have to run some more tests before they know anything for sure. We know that players can receive inconclusive results or false positives, so perhaps that is the situation White has run into. We’ll see. Fortunately, it appears there have been no other players taking away from the team due to contract tracing.
Typed this wrong. He’s technically out for health and safety protocols. Donovan made it sound like a test came back with a result they need more info on and team would know more in next 24-48 hours. https://t.co/agu2MXZVNc
