What to Watch For …
• No James Harden. No Kevin Durant. Is that enough for the Bulls to make this a contest? After battling with a fully healthy Suns and Jazz squad, one would sure like to think so. Not to mention, Nikola Vucevic has looked nothing but comfortable against this Nets team so far this season, averaging 28.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game. To be clear, they didn’t have LaMarcus Aldridge in the frontcourt to help during those contests, but that’s still a stat line that can inspire some confidence heading into this one. Let’s hope the Bulls try to get him going early.
• Zach LaVine moved like his old self last game, but he sure didn’t shoot like it. LaVine converted only 10 of his 22 shots against the Jazz, and he went a disappointing 2-8 from downtown. The Nets have the 25th-ranked defense in the NBA, so maybe this can be a get-back-on-track game for the All-Star.
• The Bulls have committed just nine and six turnovers in their previous two games, respectively. Can they reach single-digit turnovers in three-straight games for the first time this season?
• Who the hell is going to have to guard Kyrie Irving?
