What to Watch For …
• The last time these two met, the Bulls bench outscored the Cavaliers bench 45-15. Lauri Markkanen finished with 16 points while Denzel Valentine contributed 13 of his own. With starters like Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, and Jarrett Allen all capable of having highly impactful nights, it will be important for the team to, once again, take advantage of the times their off the floor.
• The Bulls only scored 38 points in the paint against the Cavaliers on Saturday, but that’s mainly because they had a pretty productive night from behind the arc (their 16 three-pointers were the second most since March 19th). If the shots fail to fall again, however, expect Vucevic to see a bigger workload than he did the first time around (had 10 makes on 17 shots for 25 points).
• The Cavaliers score the 5th-most points in the paint per game, and with Troy Brown Jr. out tonight due to an ankle injury, the Bulls’ first line of defense could be that much weaker. Theis and Vooch will have to be on high alert.
• Coby White’s last three games: 7 assists, 9 assists, 7 assists. Can he keep it up?
