Pre-Gamin’: Bucks at Bulls (8:00 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, LaVine/Vooch Out, Game Thread

Chicago Bulls

Believe it or not, it’s the end of the road.

Thanks to all the folks who have followed the coverage this season. I’m excited to dive into this offseason next week and see what changes ultimately come. Based on the active trade deadline, I have no doubt Arturas Karnisovas and Co. will continue to mix things up this summer.

What to Watch For …

•   I have no idea if the starting lineup above will actually be what the Bucks go with tonight. And, if it is, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the starters see minimal minutes. The only reason Milwaukee would be fully invested in this game would (potentially) be if the Brooklyn Nets lost. The Bucks currently sit one game behind them for the No. 2 seed and do have the H2H tiebreaker if the two teams finish with the same record. However, considering the Nets are playing the tanking Cavaliers, there is a good chance they’ll walk away with the W.

•   With an opportunity to guarantee a 26.3 percent chance at a Top-4 pick with a loss tonight, it should be no surprise that LaVine and Vucevic will be on the sideline. The Bulls will likely let the young guys try to run the show, with an emphasis on getting Patrick Williams some extra touches. The rookie recorded a career-high 24 points in the loss to Brooklyn and that was with Vooch on the floor. Now that the All-Star center will be on the bench, he will have even more liberty to run the offense.

•   This could very well be Lauri Markkanen’s last game as a Chicago Bull. Headed toward restricted free agency, the Bulls may match a contract offer thrown his way, but we have to remember he was rumored to be on the trading block at the deadline. With that being the case, it feels like the team could either let him walk or (ideally) look for a sign-and-trade deal this summer.

•   Devon Dotson minutes!? What about Mokoka Mania!?
