Dumping popcorn, spitting, throwing a water bottle, and now running onto the court. NBA fans have been completely out of control lately.
During tonightโs 76ers-Wizards game, a fan somehow found his was onto the floor and ran across the court. The player avoided making contact with any player, running to the opposite side of the court before being flattened by a member of security.

According to the official Monumental Sports & Entertainment Twitter account, the company that owns the Wizards, the fan has been banned and legal action will be taken. And that was IMMEDIATE:
During this evening's game, a fan was apprehended by Capital One Arena Special Police after attempting to breach the court. He will be banned from the arena and charges are being pursued with DC MPD.

I know running on the court might seem the most light-heartened of the recent incidents, but that still puts people at risk, and the fact someone can so easily do it sparks concern. Hopefully, this is the last post we have to write these playoffs on anything like this. Get it under control, folks. Just enjoy the game.
