Practically every NBA player is going to be subject to online haters, but only a lucky sum will ever get to read comments from those online haters to millions of people!
Jimmy Kimmel Live has been having some of the biggest celebrities and athletes read mean tweets about themselves for almost a decade. In the latest edition of the beloved segment, Chicago Bulls All-Star Zach LaVine joined big names like Shaquille O’Neal, Caron Butler, Kyle Lowry, Kemba Walker, and Trae Young.
Rather than type out exactly what LaVine had to read, I’ll just encourage you to give it a watch (LaVine appears at 1:53):
LaVine must get a kick out of hearing from his trolls because this isn’t the first time the 26-year-old has made an appearance. Back in 2017, LaVine also sat down to read a tweet, and you can catch that one below (first clip).
You gotta love a good sport.
Anyway, I look forward to LaVine continuing to prove all his haters wrong in Tokyo!
