Well, that’s a relief!
Only one day after entering health and safety protocols, Zach LaVine has been given the green light to rejoin his teammates, per USA Basketball.
U.S. Olympic Team member Zach LaVine has cleared USA Basketball's health & safety protocols. LaVine will join the USA team in Tokyo Thursday afternoon.

Team USA originally made clear that LaVine’s stint in protocols was out of an abundance of caution, and they remained hopeful he could still travel to Tokyo. Still, there was some concern about his availability after the Olympic committee saw Bradley Beal have to be replaced on the roster last week.
Fortunately, LaVine appears to be in good shape, and he will make his way overseas on Thursday. The Olympics are set to tip-off on July 23rd, and Team USA’s first game will be on July 25th against France.
