We back!
After three days off, the Chicago Bulls Summer League crew is back in action for some late-night hoops. The team will look a bit different tonight, however, as two of their key offensive weapons will be on the sideline.
According to Bulls PR, Devon Dotson is out with his ankle injury for tonight’s summer league game. Patrick Williams is not with team anymore. Got his 3 productive games in and is done.

What to Watch For …
• The Chicago Bulls shot an atrocious 25 percent from the field and 15.6 percent from downtown in their Thursday matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves. When it comes to Summer League, those team-wide stat lines do not particularly matter, but we’d all still like to watch some better basketball. Please.
• Unfortunately, with Devon Dotson out tonight due to an ankle injury and Patrick Williams done in Las Vegas (which is not uncommon for the team’s “top player” in Summer League), we might not see a significantly better product. But at least Ayo Dosunmu should get a chance to play the same aggressive style that helped him averaged 20+ points per game in college. It should be a great opportunity for the No. 38th pick to show what he’s got.
• Marko Simonovic should also receive an even bigger workload. The 2020 Bulls second-round pick struggled to get into an offensive rhythm on Thursday with a 1-8 performance from the field. While he has taken the occasional shot outside the restricted area, he has yet to truly flash the three-level scoring ability he had overseas. I’ll be curious to see what he can do tonight as potentially the team’s No. 1 scoring option.
• The time is also now for any other roster members to prove their worth. Not only is there a two-way contract spot still open on the Bulls’ roster, but the Windy City Bulls will look to fill out their depth chart soon, as well. Former intriguing draft prospects like Omari Spellman, Jerome Robinson, and Tyler Bey will want to make the most out of this opportunity.
