David Letterman Showed Up at Nets Media Day to Troll Kevin Durant (And Apparently Most of Twitter)

David Letterman has been in the television and comedy industry for years. But evidently, some people are still not aware of this and thought that a legitimate NBA reporter was asking Kevin Durant some pretty comical questions at Nets’ media day today.

For example, why do people call you “KD?”

The blankness on Durant’s face is absolutely killing me.

I also loved the follow up about what percentage of effort Durant plans to give on the court this season, offering 90%, 100%, and 110%, mocking the typical canned answer.

But the best one might be when Letterman asked Durant if he planned on playing for the Knicks on his days off with Brooklyn … LOL. The Letterman bit is hilarious, but I find it even more hilarious that people just don’t know who he is. Just check the replies for some really baffled fans.

“Alright Dave, that was the last one.”

Is Durant in on it? I think Durant may be in on it.
