We first got wind that Zach LaVine had something in the works with Zion Williamson back in August. The Bulls All-Star could be seen comfortably chilling with the 2019 No. 1-overall pick at what appeared to be an NBA2k22-related event.

Now, with the NBA set to start in less than a month, we know exactly what these two franchise cornerstones were up to. LaVine and Williamson star in a new NBA 2K22 and Mountain Dew crossover commercial that we can only assume will air on our televisions soon.
LaVine can be seen competing with Williamson while the game announcer insults him for clanking a three. Williamson receives his own custom insult before the two take a “Dew break” and proceed to dominate the game. Ya know because a good sip of pop makes you better at video games.

Here's a really fun new spot I did for @MountainDew in which I get to smack talk Zach Lavine and Zion Williamson from the safety of a video game! Check it out! #actorslife #voiceover #wehavefunhere pic.twitter.com/OXJ6cN9Rej

OUR BOY IS ALL GROWN UP!
Seriously, it’s pretty cool to see LaVine get this kind of recognition. I know it’s just a silly commercial, but these things show us just how big of a star someone has truly become. And this also isn’t the last time we will see LaVine practicing his acting chops. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, LaVine will also appear in a CarMax spot once the regular season begins in October.
Keep getting that bag, Zach!
