As the NBA gears up for its 75th Anniversary season in a couple of weeks, the league is sure to roll out some excellent and nostalgic content for hoops fans to soak up. For example, this fantastic trip around the ages hosted by Michael B. Jordan.

On NBA Lane, you’ll see some excellent references from every generation of NBA fandom. From Gary Payton stopping the school bus with his hand in an ode to his defensive prowess and his nickname, The Glove, to LaMelo Ball playing NBA JAM against Benny the Bull, the references are just pretty darn cool.
Zach LaVine also gets some pretty significant time to shine with an alley-oop and an actual speaking line! I know it can seem trite, but the more LaVine can improve his image (and the Bulls standing around the NBA), the better. That’s just how the league operates.
One criticism though? There was not NEARLY enough MJ. Like, they had EVERYBODY in this clip … so where’s the G.O.A.T.? Maybe there’ll be some more commercials as the season goes on, but it sure seems like this would be the time to include him. Bummer. On second thought, I guess Michael (B) Jordan was driving the bus … does that count?
Anyway, go check it out for yourself. There are all kinds of Easter Eggs in there. Let us know your favorite.
