WE. MADE. IT.
The Chicago Bulls are about to play their most highly-anticipated season-opener in over half a decade. While many of us got a taste for what this team is capable of during the preseason, the real test starts now. T
The Detroit Pistons are a rebuilding franchise that is projected by many to finish as one of the worst teams in the league. For Chicago to prove to doubters around the NBA that they mean business, they have to come into Little Ceasers Arena and make the Pistons team look just as bad as Little Ceaser’s pizza (unnecessary shot?).

What to Watch For …
• With Cunningham sidelined, all eyes will be on Jerami Grant. The athletic forward carried the Pistons offense on his shoulders last season, and he gave Chicago a scare with a career-high 43 points performance last season. Shutdown Grant on the offensive end, and the Bulls should be comfortably in the driver’s seat.
• While it was only preseason, the Detroit Pistons did shoot the 6th-most field goal attempts per game, while the Bulls allowed the 6th-most free-throw attempts a night. Could Detroit make this a point of emphasis tonight? And, if they do, can the Bulls finally limit their fouling?
• Isaiah Stewart is a big man who could turn into a big problem. Stewart not only showed real flashes as a solid offensive rebounder last season, but his block percentage ranked in the league’s 86th percentile. This undersized Bulls team will have to keep their eye on Stewart all night long.
• Anyway, I’m just ready to watch the ball get bounced, so I’ll link a handful of recent posts below in case you want some more pre-game reading!
