Second-year forward Patrick Williams had to exit Thursday night’s battle with the New York Knicks due to a wrist injury.

Williams went up for a dunk attempt early in the 3rd quarter before being fouled hard by Knicks center Mitchell Robinson.
In fact, the foul was so hard that the refs went to review things and ended up calling Robinson for a flagrant. At first, Williams appeared to be okay, staying out there to make both free-throws, but roughly one minute after the fall, Williams checked out and headed straight to the locker room.

Hopefully, the removal was just out of an abundance of caution, but the fall was rather nasty. We’ll see what updates come after the game.
