How did the Chicago Bulls respond after their first two-game skid of the season? Oh, just by beating the 7-3 Brooklyn Nets (winners of five-straight) by 23 points. No biggie.
Despite an abysmal 2nd quarter where the Bulls were outscored 30-16, and another discouraging performance from behind the arc (9-31), the relentless Chicago Bulls almost quite literally ran James Harden and Kevin Durant off the court. The second half was a back-and-forth affair where the team’s energetic bench wreaked havoc on defense. Then, it was a combined effort by Ayo Dosunmu and DeMar DeRozan to get the Nets in transition and ignite a flame on the offensive end. They helped Chicago gain a 10-point advantage before the Bulls’ deadly closing lineup went on a 26-12 run to close things out.
When all was said and done, the Bulls outscored the Nets 42-17 in the 4th quarter alone. It was another clutch performance that not only demonstrated the sheer amount of offensive weapons on this team but what can happen when they all begin to play off one another.
The Bulls beat the Nets by 23 points, their largest margin of victory in franchise history when trailing entering the 4th quarter.
It's the 3rd time in team history they've outscored an opponent by 25+ in the 4th quarter. They've done it twice in the past 8 days. pic.twitter.com/26EE8CNnfj

Whether we’re talking Vooch’s slump, the stagnant offense, or the lack of size, closing efforts like that is what makes me steer clear of the panic button. The more this team plays together, the more we’ll see this. There is so much talent on this roster, and when they get hot, they can hang with absolutely anyone.
What a win. What a bounceback. I love this team.
