The Chicago Bulls might catch an MVP-sized break tonight.
According to the NBA’s latest injury report, Nikola Jokic has suffered a wrist sprain and is now questionable for tonight’s matchup.
The Denver Posts’ Mike Singer shared that Jokic walked off the court briefly last night while holding his wrist. At the time it appeared as nothing serious, and while a questionable designation still suggests that, it was still enough to put his availability against Chicago in doubt.
Jokic was indeed holding his right wrist. After the game, Malone said he wasn’t aware of anything going on, and Joker said he left the court early just to check on Malone (which, well, he was kidding). https://t.co/lDbuEkCGps

Considering the Bulls are missing All-Star center Nikola Vucevic, a matchup with Jokic felt like a major concern. The big man has continued to stay near the top of the MVP ballot (with NBA dot com ranking him as third), averaging an absurd 26.4 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.
The possibility of him missing tonight, though, feels slightly more possible due to the fact the big man clocked 35 minutes against the 76ers just last night. Even if the injury isn’t too serious, head coach Mike Malone might be more prone to rest Jokic even if there is slight irritation. Something to monitor.
