If anybody needs a break, it’s the Chicago Bulls, and it seems as though they’re going to catch one before they square off with the Miami Heat tomorrow night in South Beach.
Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Markieff Morris all out vs. Bulls, per Heat injury report. Duncan Robinson is probable with a left quad contusion.

K.C. Johnson points out that Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Markieff Morris are all out tomorrow with various ailments. Adebayo and Morris were expected, but Jimmy Butler’s tailbone issue that he has been dealing with wasn’t expected to keep him out of this one. However, and I don’t blame Erik Spoelstra for this logic, it seems that the Heat are circling the decimated Bulls as a good spot to give Butler a night of rest.
Duncan Robinson is also listed on the injury report for the Heat with a quad contusion, but he’s listed as probable and will likely play. For the Bulls, Alex Caruso has been upgraded to questionable regarding the hamstring injury that he’s been nursing the last two weeks.
The Bulls will be without DeMar DeRozan, Javonte Green, Derrick Jones Jr., Coby White, and Matt Thomas for sure, with all five in the NBA’s Health & Safety Protocols. The Bulls have signed Stanley Johnson and Alfonzo McKinnie through the NBA’s hardship exception to fill out a roster that looked dead tired on Wednesday night in Cleveland.
