Alex Caruso to be Re-Evaluated in 7-10 Days After Suffering Foot Injury

After leaving Monday night’s game early, the Chicago Bulls have announced Alex Caruso will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days due to suffering a left foot sprain.

Caruso was able to walk off under his own power to the locker room against the Houston Rockets, but he did not return to the game after playing just 6 minutes.

An extended absence for Caruso with several players still in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, as well as a couple of injuries, certainly doesn’t help this Bulls team. However, it’s reassuring to know that Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmu, and Alize Johnson are scheduled to re-join the team after Christmas. Not to mention, the last time Caruso suffered an injury that was supposed to have him sidelined a week, the defensive hound was able to find his way back early.

Regardless, the good news is that a 7-10 timeline doesn’t suggest the most serious injury for Caruso, and we already know this Bulls team is plenty used to playing shorthanded.
