Caruso was able to walk off under his own power to the locker room against the Houston Rockets, but he did not return to the game after playing just 6 minutes.
An extended absence for Caruso with several players still in the NBA’s Health and Safety Protocols, as well as a couple of injuries, certainly doesn’t help this Bulls team. However, it’s reassuring to know that Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmu, and Alize Johnson are scheduled to re-join the team after Christmas. Not to mention, the last time Caruso suffered an injury that was supposed to have him sidelined a week, the defensive hound was able to find his way back early.
Regardless, the good news is that a 7-10 timeline doesn’t suggest the most serious injury for Caruso, and we already know this Bulls team is plenty used to playing shorthanded.
