The NBA has announced the participants for the MTN Dew 3-Point Contest at All-Star Weekend, and a familiar name has made the list.
Zach LaVine will participate in the event for the third-straight season, competing alongside an eight-player pool that includes fellow stars Trae Young, Karl-Anthony Towns, Fred VanVleet, and (the recently traded) CJ McCollum.
Here’s a look at the complete lineup:

LaVine has put together a respectable showing in each of the previous two contests, but he’s failed to make it to the final round. If he were to change his fate and take home the crown this year, he would become the first player in NBA history to win both the dunk and 3-point contest.
Considering this is his second-straight season shooting above 40.0 percent from the 3-point line, it certainly feels possible that the well-rounded LaVine can finally make the history he clearly wants to make. Good luck, Zach!
