The Bulls will be looking to get rid of the bad taste in their mouths from the first meeting between these two teams last month when the Spurs put up 131 points on the Bulls in San Antonio. But, that doesn’t mean that there can’t be some good-spirited Valentine’s Day festivities before the tip, right?

What to Watch For …
• The last time the Bulls and the Spurs got together Dejounte Murray led the scoring charge for the Spurs with 29 points, 12 assists, nine rebounds, and a game-high three steals while shooting 12-for-24 from the floor, 2-for-4 from beyond the arc as the Bulls were blasted by San Antonio en-route to allowing 131 points to the Spurs in a losing effort. Murray has since been named an All-Star and is averaging 20 points nine assists and eight rebounds per contest this season.
• DeMar DeRozan has the opportunity to extend a career-long streak to seven straight 30+ point games if he reaches that mark again tonight. The last Bulls player to score 30+ points seven times in a row was Michael Jordan during the 1996-97 season. In fact, Jordan holds the franchise’s all-time record with 11 straight 30+ point games set in 1986-87, per Bulls media notes.
